Terms of Service

By accessing or using FDM Foundry ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including buyers, creators, and visitors.

FDM Foundry is a curated digital marketplace for FDM-optimized 3D printable tabletop miniatures and related digital files. The Platform facilitates transactions between creators (sellers) and buyers but does not manufacture, print, or ship physical goods.

To make purchases or sell on the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

When you purchase a digital product on FDM Foundry, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the files for personal, non-commercial purposes — specifically 3D printing for personal tabletop gaming use.

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or share purchased files
• Use purchased models for commercial production without a separate commercial license from the creator
• Claim ownership of models created by others
• Upload purchased files to other platforms or file-sharing services

Creators who sell on FDM Foundry agree to the following:

• All submitted models must be original work or properly licensed for resale
• Models must comply with our Creator Guidelines and FDM Standards
• Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their product descriptions and claims
• Creators must respond to legitimate buyer issues in a reasonable timeframe

Creators set their own prices. FDM Foundry retains a 10% platform fee on each transaction. Payment processing fees (Stripe) are deducted separately at standard rates. Detailed pricing information will be published when the marketplace launches.

Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe Connect. FDM Foundry reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud, policy violations, or unresolved disputes.

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final. However, refunds may be issued in the following cases:

• The delivered files are corrupt or non-functional
• The product significantly differs from its listing description
• Duplicate purchases made in error

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Each request is reviewed individually by our support team.

FDM Foundry respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright or trademark, please contact us at legal@fdmfoundry.com with details of the alleged infringement. We will review and respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable laws.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, access controls, or payment systems
• Upload malicious content, malware, or harmful files
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Create fake accounts, reviews, or transactions
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without written permission

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Purchased files that have already been downloaded remain subject to their original license terms.

FDM Foundry is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the quality of any third-party content. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
