Built by printers, for printers.
FDM Foundry exists because the 3D printing community deserves a marketplace that understands the difference between a resin render and a well-tuned FDM print.
Where it started
FDM Foundry started with a frustration shared by thousands of tabletop hobbyists: finding 3D models that actually look good when printed on an FDM printer.
Most marketplaces treat FDM as a second-class citizen. Models designed for resin get a "works on FDM too" tag and call it a day. The result? Failed prints, wasted filament, and a community that's learned to keep expectations low.
We believed there was a better way. A marketplace where every model is designed, tested, and optimized specifically for FDM. Where creators who understand layer lines, overhangs, and print orientation are the stars — not an afterthought.
That's why we built FDM Foundry.
Our Mission
To build the definitive marketplace for FDM-optimized tabletop miniatures — a place where creators earn fairly, buyers print confidently, and the FDM community grows stronger together.
Our Vision
A world where anyone with a $200 FDM printer can build an army of beautifully detailed tabletop miniatures — because the models were designed for exactly that purpose from the start.
What we believe in
These aren't corporate talking points. They're the principles we use to make every decision.
Quality Over Quantity
We'd rather have 500 models that all print beautifully than 50,000 that mostly don't. Curation is a feature.
Fair Deals
Creators keep 90%. No hidden fees. No tiered pricing. If it ever changes, we'll tell you first — honestly.
Radical Transparency
We publish our pricing, our standards, and our reasoning. If we mess up, we say so. Trust is earned in the open.
Community First
Every feature we build starts with one question: does this make life better for our creators and their buyers?
FDM Pride
FDM printing is not 'lesser than' resin. It's a different craft with its own beauty, and it deserves its own platform.
Open Access
Anyone with a printer and passion can be a customer. Anyone with skill and dedication can be a creator. No gatekeeping.
