I made this handle for paint miniatures. It's confortable to use in the hand and works fine for right and left handers. It has magnet in the base, very convenient to use with my minis, I put a magnet in their bases :)

The model has the handle part, and one “base” piece that can be chosen between to 2 sizes, "small" and “big”.

Small base is ideal for minis that are less than 4 cm in their base.

Big base is for… bigger miniatures! Less than 5.5 cm in their base.

The magnet needed for this handle is Neodimium 10 x 2 mm

Important thing: your miniaure needs to have a magnet in the base, and the polarity need to be in the inversed side in order to work, I use also a 10x2 mm magnets in my miniature bases

Shopping list for printing 1 handle:

  • 1 Neodimium magnet 10x2mm
  • Glue, I recommend “Loctite SuperGlue” or generic Cyanoacrylate glue
  • PLA of your favorite color :)

How to print:

  • You 'll have a nice handler with 0.4 Nozzle and layer height 0.2
  • The handler should have outer brim

How to mount:

  • The magnet should be inside the hole designated for it
  • You need to put a little of glue to joint the handle with the base.
  • You need to have in account your polarity in order to make match with your miniatures' magnet!

My miniatures (compatible with this handle):

It's very easy to assembly, I took some pics of a handle with big base, I hope it will be helpful :)
