The Schism of Katsorel: The Genesis of the Hybrids Following the Iron Sedition, a rebellion that saw the capital world of Katsorel Primus turn against Central Authority, a decree of "Industrial Disjunction" was imposed. To ensure that no local force could ever raise an autonomous army again, the manufacturing secrets of main battle tanks were fragmented and scattered across the system's celestial bodies. Katsorel Primus retained the hull forges, engine assembly lines, track links, and final assembly infrastructure. Meanwhile, the moon of Katsorel Secundus inherited the turret foundries, heavy cannon machining, targeting computers, and rotation mechanisms. For four centuries, this fragile balance was maintained by ceaseless convoys ferrying components to Primus for final vehicle completion. Then came the orc Invasion. By saturating orbital space and intercepting anything attempting to leave the atmosphere, the invaders established a total blockade between the worlds. Deprived of their shuttle links, local technocults were forced to commit the unthinkable: shattering sacred protocols to spawn "Hybrids of Necessity." On the moon of Secundus, the cannon foundries were running at full capacity, but no tank hulls were available to carry them. The solution was to sacrifice mining extraction machinery. These orphaned artillery pieces were hastily welded onto heavy mine carts, giving birth to the "Siege Breaker." The birth of the "Siege Breaker" did not go unpunished. Following the first lifting of the blockade, the mind behind the mining-hybrid conversion, was brought before a tribunal for Techno-Blasphemy. He was accused of defiling the machine’s spirit by mating a noble artillery piece with a lowly excavation tool. However, in a rare display of judicial pragmatism, hewas granted a conditional pardon. The tribunal ruled that because the "Holy Cannon" itself — the barrel and its sacred breech — had remained untouched and unprofaned, the sin was one of "unfortunate architecture" rather than heresy. His creation had held the line where orthodox steel had failed. He was sentenced to to a ritual penance, tasked to ritually purify the barrels and to reintegrate them into the turrets for which they were originally forged. Only a few "Siege Breakers" remain hidden in the deep mining shafts, kept away from the prying eyes of the inspectors by crews who refuse to give up their best chance at survival. The Concept: A massive tank cannon mounted on a reinforced mine cart chassis. Loosely inspired by the 1917 French 155mm GPF gun. Provided whith two different chassis. ------------------------------ Fully 3D printable without supports (Supportless) for FDM printers. ------------------------------ If you enjoy my models, feel free to share your print, leave a small tip, or send a message — all mean a lot and really help me keep creating more!
