The FDMAMANDER reconnaissance vehicle is a closed version of the Salamander reconnaissance vehicle. This additional armor allows the crew to be better protected, and especially to fight in battlefields contaminated by CBRN weapons. You'd think that having an enclosed body would make this vehicle less good as an observation platform, but numerous hatches, a wide 360° cupola and two periscopes allow observers to get a 360° view of the battlefield.
