Dwarven Mountain Halls Core Pack (OpenForge)

Carved deep into the bones of the world, the mountain halls of the dwarves are places of stone-hewn grandeur and stubborn endurance. Every corridor, pillar, and vaulted chamber reflects centuries of toil—chisels and hammers shaping the darkness into something proud, purposeful, and enduring. Here, clan banners hang in still air, forge smoke drifts through ancient vents. Adventurers who walk these paths feel the weight of tradition in every tile: the worn steps polished by generations of boots, the runic carvings warding off what lurks in the deep, the sturdy doors built to withstand both beast and siege. Feasting halls, guard posts, brewing alcoves, and forgotten tunnels all weave together into a living labyrinth—part fortress, part home.

In this pack you will find the core tiles and terrain to set up a campaign within the heart of the realm of the dwarves. In upcoming packs I will add to it with caves, dungeons, sewers, catacombs to mention a few. 

All models are thouroghly tested. The sample models are always printed in Bambu Lab PLA Basic, even though there are other filaments more fitting for miniatures. This is to make sure the model holds up with most filaments.

Assembly

The tile asset is fastened to the bases using glue. Using this set, you have two choices; using magnets or printable clips to connect the tiles when playing. 

Alternative 1: Magnets 

This method uses magnets (3x5 or similar size) in small recesses of the bases. This will make them able to rotate and have the correct polarity to connect to any other base. This method is practical when playing, but takes alot of magnets when making full tile set. That being said, these sets will last a lifetime. 

Alternative 2: Printable clips

This method uses printed clips to connect the tiles. I favour this method, for its simplicity when making the tiles and that I wont have to buy and place large amounts of magnets. It's also a great way to finish off rolls of filament, printing these small clips that wont be visible in play. 

Gluing the asset and bases is simple. Just use any adhesive for plastic, apply a small amount in each corner and place the tile asset on top:
