The little boat that launched a thousand printers is turning ten.
But instead of another novelty remix, we asked: What would the Benchy look like if it had to carry something heavier than filament tests?
Therefore, we turned to the oldest river crossing in myth—Charon’s ferry across the Styx. Not just a boat, but a boundary.
A vessel that delivers the dead from one realm to another. Greek, Norse, Egyptian—every mythology has this crossing.
Every soul, a payload. Every boat, a judgment.
So we made our version in the Nozzleborn Foundry style—corrupted, but clean.
The prow has rotted into a mouth that never closes. The cabin leans with the weight of things unsaid. Every plank looks like it’s grown from sinew, not wood. There’s no oar. No pilot. Just a boat waiting for its next passenger.
We kept it simple. Clean silhouette. Solid print. No cheap tricks.
Because the dead don’t need detail.
They need direction.
