Bandits on Wheelchairs
5 Bandits - Mad Mathilda, Angry Marianne, Cutthroat Ursula, Crooked Nose Nicklas and Fat Igor.
The TTRPG community thrives on imagination and inclusivity, yet the disabled community still lacks the representation it deserves. Designing for this space can be challenging, but with these miniatures, I wanted to explore an idea: people aren’t defined by their wheelchairs, but the wheelchair is a part of their story.
And just like anyone else, people who use wheelchairs can be brave, kind, hilarious—or even a bit of a jerk. Disability doesn’t define your personality.
I thought it’d be a fun twist in a campaign if the party hears rumors of a small bandit caravan trailing them. They spot narrow tracks in the mud—wheels, not hooves—and tension builds. Then, toward the end of the session, these five roll up.
I’ve made a video where I talk more about this concept and the minis themselves. If you’re curious or just want to hang out, here’s the link to the YouTube video.
Explicitly designed for easy and clean printing with FDM. These 25mm models are completely support-free, saving precious post-processing time and use less plastic. Compatible with 0.2mm nozzle, ensuring high-quality results for all common home 3D printers.
Thumbnails showcase actual printed miniatures (not renders), offering clear perspectives on intricate details, including close-ups. Multiple angles are provided to enhance the visual narrative and practical utility.
It takes a lot of time and energy to make these kinds of supportless minis, but I love to provide more. Seeing these minis with your paint jobs, print results and even them at your table give so much motivation and energy.
So, do you like it this one? How can I make this more useful/fun for your table? I would love to know and serve.
Happy Printing
